Detailed Description

Theme: “Aligning CCUS with Value Creation”

Conclave Context

How do we accelerate CCUS related value creation? Which opportunities allow for CCUS initiatives to drive value creation? Economic value is always the biggest factor in industrial shifts. Can we create economic value that is beyond government driven incentives. Policy changes in Europe are creating demand for lower carbon intensity products; is that an opportunity to solidify the value proposition for CCUS as a market driven phenomenon? What is (or should be) the future path for CCUS?

We are looking forward to a powerful discussion with:

• Mr. Ash Shepherd, Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) & Head of Strategy, CarbonCycle

• Mr. Steve Everley, Senior Managing Director, Energy & Natural Resources, FTI Consulting

• Mr. Zach Liu, Director of Subsurface CCUS, Harvestone Low Carbon Partners

Conclave Format

Our conclaves are intense discussions between speakers and attendees, with the goal of having 80% of the attendees contribute. That is a challenging goal, however, when it happens — it is absolute magic!

At the Houston Strategy Forum, we facilitate a closed door, no press, Chatham House Rules, safe zone for candid discussions. Real discussions — no fluff. It is a vigorous format unlike anything else.

About CarbonCycle

CarbonCycle partners with industrial emitters, such as natural gas processors, power plants, or other industrial facilities with high concentrations of CO2, to provide capture, transportation, and permanent sequestration solutions. We collaborate with landowners, midstream companies, and regulators to ensure our transportation solutions are successful, safe, and efficient. For sequestration, we complete extensive geologic studies to ensure the subsurface reservoir is safe for permanent sequestration of CO2. We work directly with the EPA and state authorities to secure the required permits for permanent sequestration to provide customers full value chain solutions for their decarbonization goals.

CarbonCycle is a portfolio company of Grey Rock Investment Partners, a private equity firm based out of Dallas, Texas. The firm invests across the energy value chain focusing on investments in natural resources, carbon capture, industrial electrification, and power optimization.
